Restaurants and cafes are now able to offer dine-in service at a 50% capacity, but not all have reopened. We recommend you contact the individual establishments to verify their hours, offerings and policies.
Dessert isn’t just a want, it’s a need, and Ypsi has you covered with everything from ice cream to donuts. There’s something for everyone in the sweet treat arena. Local gem Go! Ice Cream makes everything by hand and from scratch, using all-natural and local ingredients whenever possible! They’re open year-round, and thank goodness, because we can’t get enough of their quirky flavors…try the sweet browned butter or the carrot cake, you’ll thank us later.
Dom Bakeries…an Ypsilanti staple for all the donuts, with a drive-thru, and drawing in crowds from towns over. If you haven’t been there, you need to go, now. And lucky for you, they’re open 24 hours (no joke). Their donuts are fresh, fluffy, and fiercely loved (some people drive 20 minutes each week to get their apple fritter fix here). There’s not much better than hot coffee and donuts, especially from a local gem like Dom’s. Next up, Cream & Crumb, home to some of the nicest looking sweets you can find. Seriously beautiful (and delicious) baked goods and ice cream that go perfectly with your favorite brew sourced from Hyperion Coffee Co.. They also have vegan and gluten free treats, so everyone can find something to enjoy!
