Getting Here & Getting Around
Michigan Ave. downtown sidewalks are temporarily under construction for restoration on ADA accessible ramps. We encourage you to plan ahead and visit the City of Ypsilanti facebook page for the latest construction updates.
Getting Around Ypsilanti
Ypsilanti’s three business districts, including the Eastern Michigan University’s campus nearby, are known for being walkable and bike friendly, all within a few square miles. Folks love to visit downtown for shopping and happy hour, followed by a scenic stroll through Riverside Park, connecting downtown to Depot Town for more shopping, dining, and local Ypsi brews. The park, streets, and more pathways area part of the county-wide Border to Border Trail.
Along the way, admire historic architecture and plaques identifying when the buildings were originally built!
