Be a part of Michigan's longest-running 4th of July parade in its 96th year!

Commander Josh McAllister of American Legion Post 282 and the City of Ypsilanti are proud to announce our 96th Annual 4th of July Parade.

Saturday July 4th at 11:00am, it will proceed east on West Cross Street from Oakwood to Rice Street. This will also be the celebration of the Nation’s 250th anniversary.

When: July 4th at 11am, rain or shine
Where: Cross Street from the Water Tower to Depot Town
Who: YOU! Everyone who lives, works, loves, plays, serves, and celebrates Ypsi is welcome to sign up to participate. Everyone else, pull up a chair and some sunscreen along the route and enjoy!
Price: FREE! Donations are welcome.

Honorary Parade Marshalls: Descendants of Gabriel Godfroy, riding in Eva McGuire’s Corvair Flag Car 
This is a parade put on by the community for the community. Expect marching bands, real Rosie the Riveters, neighborhood floats, Veterans, vintage vehicles, Ypsi's oldest Centenarian Gordon Cahours (106), dancing, a Tribute Rosie lunch-box Drill Team, Detroit Tigers mascot PAWS and other surprises.
