Parent & Kids Boundary Setting & Personal Safety. 2 Day Workshop: Includes 2 Saturdays in April = 6th + 13th, 12:30pm-2:30pm with Heidi at the Harriet St. Studios.
This 2 day workshop will include basic, sensitively presented information about:
Mental preparedness: understanding what “uh oh” feelings are (trusting yourself) and knowing you have a right to your own body and that it’s ok to tell adults and older children “NO!"
Verbal assertiveness: Learning what to say and how to say it in order to make yourselves heard.
Physical self defense: You will actively practice simple physical skills and self defense strategies specifically chosen for use by smaller people against a larger, stronger attacker.
Cost for the two part workshop: $100 per adult/child pair, and $50 per additional child or family member.
