The II-V-I (say two-five-one) Orchestra will be performing at the Water Tower Distilling Co. on the last Sunday of every month from 7-9 pm. The Distillery is located at 23 N. Washington in downtown Ypsilanti. The Orchestra last performed at this same address 49 years ago, when it was the erstwhile Spaghetti Bender. The year was 1979, when President Gerald Ford left office as the price of gas surged to $0.59 per gallon. The band had two weekly gigs in Ypsilanti that year, every Sunday at the Spaghetti Bender and every Tuesday at the Cross Street Club.
