Eastern Michigan University is gearing up for a thrilling homecoming week which concludes with a Homecoming Fall Festival in Depot Town. Follow the Green & White Road first to Rynearson Stadium for the game and then down Cross Street for this autumnal celebration.
The day begins with a great in-state rivalry and EMU’s homecoming game on Saturday, October 21 when the Eastern Michigan Eagles will host Western Michigan Broncos. Tailgate with EMU fans, friends, and alumni prior to the game or show up ready to support your EMU Eagles for kickoff at 2 p.m.
After the game, head over to Historic Depot Town for a family-friendly, public Fall Festival. You’ll be able to hitch a ride to the festival on the free shuttle provided by Golden Limousine starting at 5 p.m. Stops will be at the Rynearson Stadium, EMU Student Center, Pease Auditorium, Downtown, and Depot Town. Shuttles will run every 20 minutes concluding at 9 p.m.
While at the festival, be sure to pick up a free donut and cider provided by Wiard’s Orchards and County Fair and capture a memory in the photo booth! Kids will have fun gourd painting or catch a quick magic trick from the strolling magician. Be sure to check out the various booths provided by local businesses and restaurants for a chance to win some prizes! The ambiance will be complete with music by DJ DigiMark.
